Can Mastic Gum Be Taken Along With Metoprolol?
Question: I take 37.5 mg of metoprolol daily. I have been having some stomach issues that feel similar to when I had h-pylori. I would like to try mastic gum as an alternative to antibiotics. Is there any contraindications to taking mastic gum with my metoprolol ?

Welcome Back to HCM: Please note that the H.Pylori has to be retreated if it is back, there are different antibiotics and regimens that can be used depending on what regimen you were placed on, please note that untreated H/Pylori will lead to MALT which is a stomach lymphoma. And were you retested to make sure that the infection was successfully treated the first time? AT the very least you need to be tested again.
