less likely to recurr but possible
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and I understand your concern. Measles also called rubeola is a self resolving viral infection just needing supportive care and vitamin A supplementation and a keen eye to catch any complications which are more likely at your age and age groups of less than 5 or more than 20.
As far as recurrence is concerned measles is less likely to recur but with advancing age and decreasing immunity odds of recurrence are higher. Prophylaxis with vitamin A supplementation and vaccines for measles help.
Over all I would it's 10 percent chance to recur and 90 percent not to. But do keep an eye over the measles complications and consult your doctor if you see any weird symptoms due to superadded infections etc.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
Regards
Khan
