Brief Answer:
Yes. It will help in diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A sample of menstrual blood can be sent for cytology and culture. It will help in diagnosis of pelvic TB. The culture of the blood will help in recognizing the MDR TB.
It is a simpler way to diagnose pelvic TB rather than a tissue biopsy.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
AKT4 can be taken for 3 months.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The culture of the menstrual blood is done prior to a biopsy as it is a non invasive procedure.
The symptoms that you are having can be due to the side effect o the ATT medicines that you are taking. AKT 4 can be taken for 3 months.
For HIV, a blood test is available. You can get the test prescribed by your gynecologist. To rule out any endometrial or ovarian cancer, investigations like ultrasound scan, Serum CA-125 and endometrial biopsy will help.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Details below.

Detailed Answer:
I have seen all the reports. The borderline change in RDW and lymphocytes do not indicate any specific problem. The raised uric acid level can cause joint pains. You need to reduce your protein intake.
The lower levels of blood urea nitrogen is not worrisome. The raised levels of SGPT is due to AKT4 that you are taking. The levels will return to normal after the treatment is stopped.
The raised cholesterol levels need to be treated. Avoid fatty and oily foods and do have regular exercise. Raised CRP is suggestive of an infection.
The giddiness can be due to dietary changes or anxiety. Do increase your fluid intake. It will help.
It is best to menstrual blood of day 1 for culture.

Decrease in Lymphocytes and increase in Neutrophils suggest acute infecection means what..does tht reflects tb.. wht doea raised crp indicates too and what kund of acute infection can be there

I m not in plan of leaving my medicines, but yes my doubt still pe3sistvof tb or some other infection..

Also i could not submit menstrual blood sample ..any other way of detection of mdr tb that is non invasive.what is expert mtb.rif..is that relevant test with regard to tb

Can cect be done wen on akt 4...is tht hwlpfil than mri

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Acute infection means that you presently have a short term infection may be caused by any bacteria in some part of your body. Further clinical examination and specific investigations are needed like blood culture to detect the type of infection. Raised CRP also indicates the same thing.
The infection can be confirmed after a culture.
MDR TB can be detected by endometrial tissue biopsy. The Xpert MTB/RIF is a cartridge-based, automated diagnostic test that can identify Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB)DNA and resistance to rifampicin (RIF)by nucleic acid amplification technique(NAAT). But it will also need a positive culture to isolate the nucleic acid. This will also need menstrual blood or endometrial biopsy.
CECT or MRI cannot diagnose TB. They can only detect some fibrosis but not the actual bacteria.

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
The deranged CBC and CRP can be due to TB. So no need to go for a blood culture.
You have suspected genital TB or pelvic TB. It cannot be detected by testing normal blood or urine sample.
MRI scan can help in detecting a possible infection. Your scan suggests fibrosis in the pelvis which is suggestive of tuberculosis. This can be confirmed on menstrual blood culture or do continue with the treatment and you will feel symptomatically better.
Cellulitis is detected by clinical examination. The presence of a sinus is suggestive of an infection.
Laparoscopy can be done safely from a separate incision other than the C- section scar.

What is meant by sinus ...will normal blood not help in jyst idenfitying multi drug resistamce

Answered by Dr. Dr. Rakhi Tayal (6 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
To detect intestinal TB, a peritoneal fluid sample can help. Or the laparoscopy can detect the infection of intestines.
It is of no use to continue with norflox again after stopping the treatment once.
You can use pegalup syrup for constipation for 4-6 months. It will not cause any harm. Do regulate the dose as per your need.
AKT3 is safe for genital TB. But it may not help in MDR TB.
Sinus means a tract that joins two body cavities.
Normal blood sample will not detect a genital TB or intestinal TB.
