Can Moles Reoccur After Being Removed Surgically?

Question: I had a mole in my hairline that I had since I was a kid (31 now) removed surgically 2 years ago. It came back benign. The other day I happened to brush my hair back and saw that it was back. I can't tell if it looks suspicious, but it's the same size and shape that it was before. Should I get it looked at again? Do moles come back that were cut out? Does it look ok?

Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern

By it came benign , do you mean that the lesion / mole was benign on a biopsy report or was it just observed clinically.
If a biopsy was indeed done then did the mole recur after complete removal
Do you feel any pain, bleeding or burning sensation with this lesion
Wishing you best of health
Thanks

Yes the doctor sent it off for a biopsy and the pathology report came back that it was benign and normal. I'm not sure when it came back. I only noticed it because I pulled my hair back a certain way. You can't normally see it unless I pull hair back. There is no pain or bleeding. It feels normal.

Hello again.
If the histopathology report showed it to be benign then its unlikely to transform so rapidly especially after remaining benign for such a long period of time.
Based on these images, For now observe the area to look for any area, color ,elevation and diameter related changes.
Thanks
