Is it sad in early pregnancy though as I'm only 7 weeks? Also I'm really worried that before I found out I was pregnant I was in the process of having a root canal done and had to have X-rays and metronidazole antibiotics also had a silver filling aswell, I'm really scared if harmed my baby so early and don't know .
Brief Answer:
Amoxicillin and metronidazole are safe.
Detailed Answer:
Yes amoxicillin is one of the safe antibiotics in pregnancy.
Metronidazole would not have harmed the baby.
It is instructed to avoid X-ray exposure at any time of pregnancy. But single exposure for a dental X-ray might not have harmed the baby.
You would have to wait for anomaly scan (18-22weeks) to confirm that.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

What's the risks to the baby from having a X-ray?
Brief Answer:
Very low risk.
Detailed Answer:
Since you have had a dental X-ray, the risk to baby is extremely small as dental X-ray is very low dose radiation.
Exposure to X-ray can cause developmental problems.
I think should not worry much as risk due to dental X-ray is very small.
Thanks.
