Can Sacral Cyst Cause Pain In Left Leg?

Question: A local dr. Told me I have a sacral cystic cyst, however no on in the upstate of sc has ever seen it much less treated it. I am 86 years old, the pain is mostly in my left foot around the ankle area. Most of the time there is no pain. However, I cannot walk on my left leg as any attempts at walking causes the left leg to buckle. So I zip around in a wheel chair. Is this to be my fate? Where can I go to get a definite diagnosis and or treatment? Joan l draper
Brief Answer:
Probably ankle problem
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
I'm sorry for the symptoms you are suffering.
Its rather difficult to connect the sacral cyst with the leg problem. Because sacral cyst doesn't generally cause symptoms.
In my opinion it should be a problem of the ankle itself but to be sure you need to contact a neurologist and probably schedule an MRI.
I don't think your actual situation will be permanent, as soon as you are diagnosed and start treatment you will be fine.
Hope my answer will help you
Wish you all the best
