Can Slight Fracture Of The Lateral Border Of Scapula Be Painless?

Question: Is there any medical reason why a person could have a slight fracture to the lateral border of their scapula and not feel any pain or discomfort? The person is not in any pain and did not notice it. It has apparently been there for 2-4 weeks and I had no idea.

The slight fracture of the lateral border of scapula can be painless as the fracture is not displaced and there is not much movement of the fractured fragments while moving the arm. Since there is no pain the fracture may go unnoticed. Such fractures may not need any immobilization and these can heal on their own gradually.
