Brief Answer:
Tablets suggested.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Since her last period was on 13th of December , the next period can be expected on the 13th of January approximately.
Today it is already the 4th of January.
It is too late to take any medications to prepone the period, however she can try tablets to postpone the periods.
She should take Progesterone tablets starting from the 9th of January itself, to be on the safer side.
She should continue using them till the 13th of January.
Once she stops, withdrawal bleed will occur within a week at the most.
Generally available tablets are Meprate, Deviry, Primolut - N etc.
WHat is her height and weight - then I can suggest the dosage.
Has she ever taken medication for this purpose earlier ?
Also, does she have any medical complications ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

she used tablets for postponement only once during her marriage that is 4 years back. does not remember the medicine used. she wants to use minimum dies and have no period on 13th and 23rd. its OK to have the cycle happen between 13th and 23rd

Brief Answer:
Explained what to do.

Detailed Answer:
No it is impossible to tailor the medications in such a way that she would menstruate between the 13th and the 23rd.
This is because the drugs have to be taken for atleast 5 days, and then bleeding can occur anytime within 7 days.
So it is possible that she may bleed immediately the next day or after a week.
Hence, the best thing is to continue taking the tablets 10 mg three times a day till the 23rd of January.
Once she stops, bleeding will occur.
Take care

Brief Answer:
Explained.

Detailed Answer:
Please start taking the tablets three times a day until the 23rd of January.
If you undertake any further delay in taking the tablets, there is a risk that her period might start.
There are no precautions as such.
Once she stops the tablets on the 23rd, she will bleed anytime within a week.
Take care.
