Child Having Fever And Back Pain. Suggest Medication
Question: My 2 year old has a fever of 102 and back pains

I suggest you to do following things:
-give acetaminophen as per dosage (15mg/kg) every 4 to 6 hourly till fever is above 100F.
-do tepid sponging of whole body.
-give plenty of fluids.
Watch for any other symptom.
In case fever persist after 24 hours get him examined by pediatrician for further management.
