Complained About Stomach Pain. Treatment With Amikacin. Had Urine Test. What Are The Findings?
Thanks for posting query to this forum,
She is having Urinary tract infection which is indicated by presence of pus cells.
She should take plenty of fluids to keep flushed the urinary tract. We should be worried as infection is still persisting it needs to be cured.
Urine must be sent for culture and sensitivity to guide us for suitable antibiotics. Sometime antibiotics do not work against bacteria due to resistance.
Please continue antibiotics as per advice of treating physician.
She should be tested for complete blood count, Fasting blood sugar, serum Creatinine and an Ultrasonography of abdomen to search for any obstruction to urinary tract.
Hope this information is useful to you, if you have any follow up query, I will be glad to answer that.
Take care.
Regards.
