Medical surveillance is mandatory.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Medical abortion should not be self-administered. It carries with it the risk of an incomplete abortion and heavy bleeding apart from the risk of infection, missing an ectopic pregnancy and future fertility issues.
So, I would ask you to see a specialist, get a physical examination, trans-vaginal sonogram to know the location of the pregnancy and the exact gestational age; and take the medication as prescribed by the doctor under surveillance. The completion of the process of the abortion should be checked through a physical exam and a sonogram again.
The entire process would normally take 1 or 2 days in very early pregnancy and you may need to rest for another day or two. Abstinence is advised for at least two weeks after the procedure and please start using a regular form of contraception if you plan to continue active sexual life hereafter. Repeated abortions are not good for health.
Please do not get tensed about seeing a doctor. Though you are unmarried, your details will be strictly maintained and kept safe. Please remember, over the counter prescription in your case is not advisable.
Mefenamic acid and dicyclomine would suit best for pain relief after using the kit.
Hope your query is clarified. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

Sonogram and prescription are advisable.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
It is for your well being that I have suggested the protocol to be followed while doing such procedures. Please do not put your health at risk for the sake of a little money. In fact, you can get free services also available for such procedures at government-run outlets.
A sonogram is needed to rule out ectopic pregnancy and know the exact age of pregnancy before starting the procedure. If you still insist, you can get the MTP kit and follow the instructions on it strictly and report to a doctor for assistance. The oral medication should be taken first followed by vaginal insertion 6 hours later.
Hope your doubt is clarified. Please contact for any more information. I will be available to help.

Thank you so much you are helping me lot
The tablets should dissolve orally to some extent.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
If you are planning to take Misoprostol alone, oral or vaginal route can be used. While using the oral route, the tablets should be retained in the mouth for 20-30 minutes so that they dissolve after which the remnants are swallowed with water. Swallowing the whole tablet with water is not recommended as the availability and thereby the action is lessened.
When Misoprostol and Mifepristone are together used as in the MTP kit, Mifepristone is taken first followed by Misoprostol following the directions given.
Please remember, a sonogram is a mandatory before the procedure to exclude any ectopic. Once again, I reiterate, medical supervision is advisable.
Hope all your queries are clarified. If you need any more help, you can contact. I will be available for help.
Wish you good health.
regards,
