Did Not Find Syringe For My Childs Amoxil Prescription? Should I Find A Doctor?

default

Question: I didnt find the proper syringe for my childs amoxil prescription. The prescribes amount is 5.5 twice a day. I used a smaller syringe that measures up to 1.85 but can be filled up more basically double. I gave him 3 of those which then realized was about 7 ml rather than the 5.5. Should i take my child to the doctor?

Hi
Do not worry.
You have given 7 ml instead of 5.
Still that falls within the dose range of amox.
Nothing should happen , ensure that further doses are given correctly.
