Do Metoprolol And Amlodipine Have Any Side Effects?

Question: I am a hypertensive patient on regular medicine my BP is aroun 130/100 & i am taking EMBITA AM 50 MG its metoprolol 50 mg and amlodipine 5 mg. Is there any side effect for regular medicine & if its is yes is there any alternative druges for that. Now since last 4/5 years i am suffering from irritable bowel dissed IBS is it related to that. Many times i am having head each and eye pain also. . Pls guide me

I understand your concern.
See, it would be wrong to say that these drugs have no side effects. Every drug, even like Paracetamol has its side effects. However it's not essential that everyone will get it.
Important here is that if you are noticing any side effect, please tell me. Else a good control of BP is more important then searching for side effects on internet. Its a long list!!!
IBS is not related to these medicines.
Mostly IBS is linked to stress and unhealthy lifestyle. That might be causing you eye pain and Headache if your BP is well controlled.
I would advise you to keep your life stress free. You will get relief from IBS and Headache.

I never fill energetic /filling tiered/fatigue. Always fill sleep tho i got the sleep of around 8 hrs. is it reasion of that tablet EMBITA AM 50

I would advise you to take Vitamin D supplement 60,000 unit once a week. Available in market like Calcirol XXXXXXX Start taking that XXXXXXX in 1 cup on milk once a week and write back after 1 month.

DR.i forgot to tell you that i am also having the thyroid problem mt tsh level is on higher side its around 7 to 8 & for that i am taking thyrox 50 .Whether is tablet i have to take for long life can it be stop what i have to do for that

If your initial levels of TSH were 7 or 8,this is subclinical Hypothyroidism.
I need to know are you mentioning these levels on medication for thyroid or these reading were when you were not on thyroid treatment.
Have you got your lipid profile done?
