I was reading into strokes cause I was concerned and saw it's said blood thinners Can cause hemmoghaic /brain stroke I am concerned because i take a baby aspirin daily is that considered one of the blood thinners that can cause a stroke? I do not smoke anymore 6 months quit, no alcholol , no high blood pressure , no drugs. Going to be on estrogen and progesterone and for at least 3 to 6 months with a baby aspirin daily I guess I am making myself really nervous

Brief Answer: hi and welcome to hcm Detailed Answer: Thanks for the query. Yes,you are nervious for no reason. Benefits of aspirine are much higher than risk of hemorrhagic stroke. This is risk is almost negligbly low and role of aspirine is very important in preventig thrombotic incidents especially in women who are taking estrogen. So you would be at more risk if not taking it. Wish you good health.feel free to ask.regards
