Question : Is there something that I can do to stop myself from growing? I am an 18 year old female that is 5'7" and I have always hated my height. Is there anything I can do to freeze my growth ? Thank you!
Brief Answer:
Check your hormonal levels
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome. First, you may have reached your final height.
Height is generically determined and there is almost no any way to influence on it. Only extreme fasting may have some effect but this is not an option of course. However, some hormonal disorders may lead to abnormal growing such as hyoerproduction of growth hormone or cortisol so you should see endocrinologist and check these hormonal levels. Wish you good health. Regards
