Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have lost my shoulder nerve that supplies my deltoids, and I was wondering if HGH could help. I have had probably 4-5 EMGs done and there is a tiny tiny bit of function in 2 of the deltoids, and im going in for another EMG in a couple days to see if my front deltoid has anything working in it, since it didn t in my other EMGs. I figured that since HGH builds new muscle on muscle all ready there it could possibly help me rebuilding my shoulder. What do you think? Is it possible, hypothetically would you give me a subscription for HGH?
Loss of nerve occurs by two means, either they got avulsed from their origin or they got disrupted in their path. No medicine including HGH is capable of growing nerves. Only treatment is surgical which includes either repairing the damaged nerve or replacing the function of the nerve or muscle by another nerve or muscle transposition.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Rohan Shanker Tiwari, Orthopedic Surgeon
