Question: can I use ACYCLOVIR to treat inner ear infection? have treated for 7 days with AMOX-CLAV 875-125 mg. 2 times daily with no relief of symptoms.

Kindly elaborate your problems, so that, I can suggest you whether to use acyclovir or not.

Acyclovir is an antiviral medicine predominantly used to treat Herpes infection. It is not advisable to use this medicine unless there is specific infection of the inner ear such as sudden sensorineural hearing loss.
