Does Adderall Cause Pain In Temple, Neck Pain And Muscle Tightness?
might me adderal side effect or Horton Arteritis
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have been through your question and understand your concern.
I think there are two possibilities.
1. I dont know what is the reason of taking adderall, because it has very few indications, mainly adhd, but headache is a very common side effect, reported to be more than 10%. So you can stop taking it if there is no contraindication, and see How does the headache behave.
2. Since it is localized in the temporal muscle, I would check for a possible Horton temporal arteritis, which is a blood vessel inflammatory disease. You should first do a CBC and check for the ESR and do a physical exam to palpate on the temporal artery.
Other cause might me an atypical migraine, which explaines why the treatment you are taking is not effective.

Wishing you good health.
No aneurysm or blood clot
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
I would exclude the blood clot because it is not associated with headache. The aneurysm does not neither cause headache, unless it is ruptured, which is of course an emergency. The type of headache which leads to a probable aneurysm rupture is a hyperacute hyperintense headache. Basically a headache you never felt before and installed immediately, with no precursors sign. The only sign you report having anything to with it, is the neck pain, which in aneurysm rupture the neck is very stiff and painful. Basically you can not bend forward your neck.
You should have a physical neurologic exam, for deciding if you need a cranial CT, but to my opinion no need for emergency consult, unless the headache has the characteristics explained above. Otherwise I recommend following the steps explained in the previous answer.

adderall can cause anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
I would definitely exlude blood clot and aneurysm. Adderall can cause anxiety up to 8%. So I expect some benefits from not taking adderall anymore. Klodipin can help with this, so I recommend to continue taking this for at least one month. If you want to take it longer you should consult your gp or specialist.
Neck pain may have different causes. The most probable is muscle tensive type which can also explain the temple headache which I would expect to be bilateral. This normally would last up to three days. None of the drugs you are taking helps with this kind of headache, which is benign.
Still, persistence of headache needs further evaluation, including cbc, physical exam and CT.
Wish you good health
