Azelastine Hydrochloride nasal spray has no steroids in it.

Yet there are some sprays which can contain steroid.
A brand of azelastine nasal spray called Dymista®, also contains a corticosteroid medicine called fluticasone. You are requested to see the contents of the spray you are using.

I hope you are using the one which has only Azelastine in it.

Ideally this nasal spray should not cause the problems of increased neuropathy as you have described. It is possible this is the natural course of diabetes you are getting a problem with.
