Brief Answer: not a side effect Detailed Answer: Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic Bayer aspirin affects the platelets which are the part of the blood that cause clotting. Heart rate can be affected by some medications but bayer is not one of the medications known to have this effect. The normal heart rate is 60 to 100 but some persons may have a lower rate than normal and have no effects. This is particularly true for persons who are fit , they have lower rates. If you have no symptoms related to the decrease then you do not need to worry Symptoms include: dizziness, shortness of breath, fainting If you have symptoms then you need to see your doctor I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
