Does Cerazette Help Regulate Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?

default
Posted on Wed, 7 Jun 2017
Question: Hi I am trying to figure out if I am oestrogen dominant and if cerazette would help balance me out. I have very heavy periods that are now irregular I have missed about 3 in the past 8 months. I have terrible pmt, zero interest in sex and have been depressed and anxious. Sleep ok, but am sad that I no longer enjoy sex. I am almost 43. Would cerazette help with this? I took it a while back and I felt my sex drive return, but I also started to gain weight especially my breasts.

Brief Answer:
Medroxyprogesterone preferred

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
High estrogen levels and low levels of progesterone are common in premenopausal age group.
All the symptoms you have described are suggestive of the same.
You should take progesterone medroxyprogesterone , deviry or meprate, which provides progesterone and do not have side effects like weight gain.
Cerazette do have these side effects, hence not used for premenopausal hormonal disturbances.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
