Does Marijuana Show Up In A Drug Screen Test Post 4th Day Of Smoking?

Question: I am 20 years old, weigh 110lb. I smoke cigarettes. I have a hair follicle test coming up as well as a urine and blood test for a government position. I have not smoked marijuana for the past 6 months seeming as thats how far they go back. Although, i slipped up twice and smoked two weeks ago and also 4 days ago. They were very small hits, i also did not hold it in at all. Should i be worried? Not sure when the hair test will be, but im guessing it will be within a week or two.

Hair test can detect use of cannabis upto three months back and it seems that few hits two week ago and four days ago can post a problem for you as per the requirements of government job.

In case they are looking for using and blood tests only in that regard you do not need to worry as single smoke can be detected upto three days.

Ive done quite a bit of research on marijuana binding to hair. Ive read on many sites and from many people that one time use is very rare for th-cooh to bind to your hair. I understand that the test goes back 6 months, but there is also a cut off level for each drug. If i had smoked once, literally not even a full hit just a tiny amount of smoke do you think it would be enough to bind to my hair? I have a strong feeling the amount of thc i absorbed was very well below the cut off level.

It is true that there is cut off for everything and this includes cannabis but any amout of exposure gets deposited and retained by hair for long duration. This is the reason they ask for hair test as it is most sensitive tests when it comes to duration.

For recent exposure you have urine and blood tests which are liklely to show negative results but We can just hope for same in regard to hair test although nothing can be stated conclusively.

I appreciate your research but you rarely get right information at websites which are mostly authored by non experts.

Thank you so much for your answer.. i will be really dissapointed in myself if i dont pass. Ive worked so hard and long for this!! 6 months of non smoking, then i had to slip up... twice.. i just hope the odds are in my favor .. thanks again
