Question: do birth control pills cause night sweats? I use microgynon 30 for 6 months and I have night sweats since I started.

thanks. I had night sweats which started when I started the pill ( 6 months ago) and I stopped 10days ago, now the night sweats become so severe and often, I can't even sleep 20mins. Going off the pill made it even more.

I am worried about early menapouse (I am 28), is that possible? I had my periods when i was on the pill.

If the pills are causing might sweats then you have to use other methods of birth control like condom.

NO births control pills do not cause menopause . But yes they can cause irregular menses which improve after stopping the pills.

My advise is to stop the pills and use other birth control methods.

Also if your sweating does not stop then you will need to get your TSH done.

Hello,

I don't mean pills cause menapouse. I wanted to ask is it possible to get menapouse early at 29, and not notice because of the pill?

Also I got my thyroid checked, I have hashimato disease.
