Question : Hi , I have diagnosed from GERD a month before , underwent endoscopy and it indicates GERD. My doctor says it is fine , just take nexpro in the morning but I am constantly suffering from some pressure on the throat area.. There is no heart burn rather there is sme irritation at throat level and I do not feel like eating .. I went to another doctor and he has suggested panatocid IT in the morning .. I am confused and stressed that when I will be fine .. Pls suggest

I understand your concern
well throat irritation could be either because of acid refluxing up into throat or due to some nasal allergy or sinusitis with causes post nasal drip.
worthwhile visiting an ENT specialist too.
Continue pantocid IT and see how you feel
Try following things and see if it helps you
Avoid lying down two hours after meals
avoid coffee aerated drinks
exercise regularly
avoid excess oily and spicy foods
try avoiding polluted location, use a mask if necessary
drink plenty of water
avoid stress as it increase acidity n relfux
avoid staying at home during home cleaning

all this will help you in long term

Thanks for the response it helps.
I need to know that would I be in the same condition.. Will I have reflux everyday.. Is there a solution. It is difficult to work with some uneasiness
