The conclusion was as in every medicine: the 10% phenylephrine will cause more side effects on the heart rate, because it is in bigger dose. But sometimes it is necessary to use a bigger dose to cause the needed healing effect...so like in every medicine when doctors decide to prescribe it and try to outweigh the benefits and the risks of a particular medicine. Thats how we should decide on prescribing it too.
