I am a 16 year old male who is having really bad headaches, and is having a hard time seeing... I also checked my heart rate, and it is going down. I have been resting for about 3 hours now, and checked my heart rate at 9:30 and it was 75bpm, then checked it at 10:30 and it lowered to 55bpm, now I just checked it a minute ago and it is 35 bpm...
The headache is certainly a concern but I am more concerned about the heart rate to be honest. Normal heart rates for someone range from 60 to 100 bpm, and anything less than that is called bradycardia. We normally see heart rates slightly below 60 bpm and that is not a worry, particularly if the person is healthy and athletic.
A heart rate of 35 bpm with a concurrent headache does however get my attention and I am not trying to be an alarmist, but I really do feel you should get yourself checked out. This very well may be just a simple headache or migraine and have nothing to do with the heart rate but I really don't want to take any chances (Better safe than sorry).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
