Does Propranolol Interact With Synthroid And Lo Loestrin?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I am on three medications that potentially interact with each other: 75mcg of synthroid for Hashimotos, 10mg of propranolol (2x daily) for palpitations and tachycardia that sometimes happens due to the thyroid issues, and lo loestrin fe for birth control. I know that I need to take the synthroid on an empty stomach and have nothing else for an hour. I also need to take propranolol before I leave for the workday (so, by 7:30, latest). What are the best times to take all the medicines and receive maximum benefits/minimum interactions from each?
Brief Answer:
No interaction. Timings given. No worries.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. I want you to know that none of these medications interact with each other so no harm even if you take them together. Synthroid is taken an hour before meal to make sure its absorption is not compromised. You may take propranolol at night before bedtime and loesrtin any time of the day you remember and recall but just don't skip the pill.
Nutshell synthroid before breakfast, propranolol preferably at night bedtime and loestrin anytime. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
