It doesn't cause high bp instead it may cause low blood pressure and dizziness. Hypertension is not due to silodosin but probably the age related phenomenon in you. You need to take treatment for it like tab Amlodipine 5 mg, regular monitoring of blood pressure, low salt diet and regular exercises. Also get lipid profile and sugars tested once.
