Brief Answer:
Can this drug be changed?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about the difficulties you have with sleeping. No one wants to be dealing with major sleeping difficulties like you have mentioned. I know warfarin is used to prevent blood clots. What are the reasons for you being on this drug? Ask your doctors directly if they can consider switching to other medications that have the same properties and are used for the same goal.

I generally don't like using medications to correct a problem caused by another medication. Please, get this discussion with your doctor about replacing warfarin and tell me what he says. This is the single best solution, stopping this drug, but we must not always bear the risk of dealing with blood clots if that seems inevitable without warfarin.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Get back to me when you get the response. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
