Does Zoloft Interact With Abilify?

Question: Yes, I have been taking 100mg of Zoloft and have developed mania, and I am buying too many things and getting too many projects started. Went to my gp and he thought I probably was always bi-polar or he added
Abilify to my meds. It makes me sick and I know I never had mania before in my life. What should I do?

I can understand your concern. Zoloft is a good antidepressant drug but in some individuals this drug is known to result in manic switch. If you developed symptoms of mania then you should talk with your doctor and either the dose should be reduced or the drug should be stopped.

Abilify is Aripiprazole and the drug should help to control your symptoms. The feeling of sickness will go in some days. So you should continue to take this drug. Other drugs like Olanzapine or Risperidone can be used. The drugs should be started with low dose and this will help to control your symptoms. You can talk with your doctor for these drugs.
