Does A Traumatic Emotional Event Affect The Onset Of Menopause?
Question: Can a traumatic emotional event that occurred 2 years ago cause a 45 yr old woman to go into menopause now? My tubes have been tied for 14 years
Brief Answer:
Not likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A traumatic emotional event two years ago is not likely to affect the onset of menopause. The menopause happens due to gradual hormonal changes in our body. It is not because of a sudden emotional event.
