Does Alcohol Intake Cause Atrial Fibrillation?

Question: Hi-I have chronic a-fib and have tried staxyn a few times and it seems to intensify my a-fib for several days. I also drink "too much" alcohol. I know it seems like I'm answering my own question, but what are your thoughts?
P.S. I am 69 yrs. old and work out 12-14 times/ week.

Brief Answer:
Stop drinking alcohol when using Staxyn...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
You are reporting to have chronic a-fib and at the same time taking Staxyn (vardenafil) with drinking "too much" alcohol.
Alcohol use will reduce the positive effect on erection of Staxyn (doing so, you need a larger dose to reach the desired effect). On the other hand, alcohol use will increase the side effects of Staxyn like tachyarrhythmia, dyspnea, chest pain, etc.
I highly recommend to stop using alcohol when you are using Staxyn.
Hope it helped!
