Umbilical hernia protrude more after certain weight lift, guidelines given

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* Umbilical incisional hernia tend to protrude more after any act of increase in
pressure in abdomen .
one of which is weight lifting

* Usually , that amount of weight which make it more protrude is advisable to
neglect ( varies from person to person according to built of the body )
on an average 3-4 kg of routine weight lifting is not going to cause problems
but daily routine weight lifting of beyond 5 kg is going to create problems on
long term basis by increasing the internal defect .

Hope this will help you .
Welcome for further queries .
Regards .
