What Causes UTI, Blood In Urine And Bloating After A Hysterectomy?
I have had a incisional hernia repair after a hysterectomy 10 mths ago, constantly having uti and blood in Urine and sever bloating, when at it s worst I have palpitations and have to lay down, I ve had to change gp recently because of misdiagnosis, I m on strong antibiotics which seem to repeat every month, help! I m waiting for a scan because my left side feels as though there is something there. I seem to have to push for tests all the time, I know my own body and I cannot afford to go private a 3rd time.

After the dual operation of hysterectomy & hernia repair... you seem to have urinary tract infection... which gives you all the symptoms.
In this situation, you would mostly be advised urine culture & sensitivity test... so that a specific an antibiotic can be chosen to give you complete relief. Please discuss it with your treating doctor.
