Brief Answer:
Better to avoid raw rice.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

Raw rice does not easily get digested and you also do not get complete food value from them, so better to avoid them.

Also, uncleaned and uncooked rice may not be free from source of contamination,so if they are taken frequently or in excess quantity, sometimes they can cause indigestion, nausea, anemia and abdominal pain with constipation as they take pretty long time for digestion. Cooking the same in a pressure cooker removes such possibilities.

But it is slightly unlikely that raw rice may cause stomach worms but it would be advisable to avoid them.

However,it is not of concern if the amount consumed is very small, but if you are consuming large amount of raw rice it is not good for your health.

Hope this helps.
