Brief Answer:
High level of stress can affect your baby.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I can understand your concern here.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Actually there is no exact data available which shows relationships between early pregnancy and stress.
But it is true that high level of stress can impact your baby growth and development and cause misscarriage, premature birth, low birth weight, infection etc.( this is due to hormone release during stress can impact pregnancy outcomes).
Daily life stress does not impact pregnancy but try to be happy and healthy during pregnancy.
So do not take any stress and do some meditation and yoga, keep yourself busy, surrounded by your family members throughout pregnancy.
Hopefully found useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Good luck.

So even a fight with my mother the last 3 days will cause a miscarriage?

Say it doesn't cause a miscarriage, can it affect the health of my baby this early on?
I read that it starts to affect the baby at 17 weeks
doctor
Answered by Dr. Richa Agarwal (6 hours later)
Brief Answer:
It may affect baby health.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Sorry for the long delay in my response.
Yes, it may affect your baby health because when you become stressed your body release hormones which has negative impact on you and your baby health.
Your nutrition is not proper( if you are not eating and sleeping properly) and it will further affect your baby health.
Directly it will not cause misscarriage but yes during stress some times uterine contraction may increase which can cause problems.
Please you should not take any stress and avoid fight as much as possible.
Hope it is useful.
Good luck.
Take care.

My nutrition and my sleep at perfect and have been eating very well. So ur saying the stress just for THREE days is going to hurt my baby? Can I speak to another gynecologist ?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Richa Agarwal (18 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No it is not like that.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

You misunderstood my opinion, I said due to stress if your nutrition and sleep get disturbed it may affect your baby health.
But if you are taking enough diet and sleep than it will not impact your health, so it will not impact your baby also.
But yes, if you have continue this fight and taking stress then it will definitely impact you and your baby health.
If you are not happy with my opinion and want to take a opinion from other doctor than you can take opinion of another Gynaecologist that is your right.
Hope it is of some use.
Good luck.
Take care.

But it is common to not have a yolk sac at 5 weeks? My lmp measures 4 weeks 6 days
doctor
Answered by Dr. Richa Agarwal (13 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No it is not very common.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Usually we can able to see yolk sac at 5 weeks because your gestational sac diameter is 10.8mm( 8mm yolk sac seen) but sometimes with delayed conception it can not be there.
So do not take any stress and get your repeat ultrasound scan and blood beta hcg test done.( it is more useful in this situation).
Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Medically you are right.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Medically you are right but it is too early to comment on it and have you done your beta hcg levels( it plays a very important role in diagnosis).
So don't be dishartened and get your beta hcg levels.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck.
