Hello!

Welcome to HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that salmon fish is reach in omega 3 fatty acids, which are very important for lowering cholesterol levels, thus reducing our cardio- vascular risk.

Besides, they have vitamins like vitamin A, D, E and K which are necessary for our body functions.

But, this is a fish with a big amount of fatt tissue.
Many toxic substances, like mercury and lead, etc., contained in the see which are absorbed in the blood of fish , and then in their fat tissue ( because fat tissue is a deposit of such substances).

That is why you should eat a small amount of this type of fish, to avoid intake of such substances, which can be toxic for our body.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
