Does Excessive Masturbation Cause Phimosis?

default
Posted on Wed, 13 Jan 2016
Question: Hi, I would like to discuss about problem with my foreskin. It's very tight (phimosis) to pull. About a year back I googled around and learnt that it could have caused due to improper methods of masturbating. Like rubbing penis against bed while lying on it. I used to masturbate that way and I feet that's the reason for my tight foreskin. Since then I have started to masturbate just with hand (holding the penis and moving hand to and fro). Since then the foreskin has loosened a bit but that's just by a very small amount. Now, when penis is in flaccid state, I am able to pull the skin little tightly and force it to go behind the glans (I am unable to pull it when penis is erect though). And pull it back to cover them. There has been a progress, true, but I feel this rate is too slow.

What do I need to do so that this loosening happens little faster?

To be true there is no effective medical treatment that can cure Phimosis. You may get temporary relief with lubricants or stretching but the results are not ever
lasting

The only best treatment option is to get circumcised .

This is a simple surgery done under local anaesthesia as a out patient procedure and offers permanent cure and helps to have enjoyable sex for rest of the life.

But there has been progress since a year. The circumference has increased a bit. If I keep doing it more the circumference can increase more. Am I right in assuming that? If so, then is there any catalyst for this process?

With my experience of 45 years I can state that there are no chances of fully recovery and foreskin can not be retracted freely over the glans which is very mandatory to have pain free and penetrative enjoyable sex .
