hypothyroidism and recent diagnosis of high blood. Fro the information you have provided, there is need for you to get treated for hypothyroidism.
TSH at 11.9 is too high and something needs to be done in this regard. Your doctor maybe right on introducing medications one at a time but 2weeks already is sufficient time to have started treatment for the other conditions.
Hypothyroidism commonly causes
cholesterol abnormalities. I will like that you get your numbers checked and managed accordingly if need be.
It is unlikely for hypothyroidism to cause
high blood pressure. low blood pressure and a slow
heart rate are rather common when talking of hypothyroidism.
A solitary nodule is not typical of
goiter which is a complication of untreated hypothyroidism. Ask you doctor if he were referred to an enlarged thyroid or just part of it because these findings are not typical. Nodules are rather more common when talking about
hyperthyroidism and possible cancers.
