Does Intake Of Adderall Cause Dark Red Spots On The Back?
Question: Hi,
Recently, a pattern of ovular dark red spots, evenly spaced, has appeared on my back in the last couple of days. I am taking a 30mg dose of adderall currently and have been for the last month. Is this possibly a reaction to the drug? I have taken adderall in the past and never had this issue.
I also have very bad allergies to pollen/ragweed/cats and my girlfriend has a long-haired cat and i sleep over regularly. Can you help?
Thanks

Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and images and being your physician I totally understand your health concerns....
In my opinion , it doesn't seem to be allergic reaction to adderal. It is most probably a bug bite reaction..
Do you feel any burning sensation? Any pain?
Sometimes, herpes zoster do presents with this type of picture..
Stay calm and use acetaminophen and cetrizine 10mg for symptomatic relief.
If burning continues , then meet dermatologist..
Hope it helps.
