Question: I am taking Lamotrigine and having great difficulty sleeping at all. Fall asleep for 10 to 20 minutes sporatically throuhout night. Feel Agitated and anxiuos

Yes. I have also experieced rashes at night that keep me from any sleep. I take 2 zytec a day. The rash stops but then I do not sleep due to extreme restlessness.

Hi.

Zyrtec or cetrizine do cause restlessness as a side effect. I suggest you to take a different antihistaimine e.g loratadine Or fexofenadine.
You can take an anxiolytic at night for a few days e.g alprazolam 0.25mg (Anxi tablet)
