Does Intake Of Yasmin Help In Delaying Menstrual Bleeding?
Question: If I am due to start my period in 1-2 days. How can I delay for a week? Can this be done with Yasmin? I am mug currently taking any pill, but was previously on XXXXXXX

Usually for the postponement of periods the progesterone hormone pill is to be taken starting from 2-3 days before the expected period and continued till the postponement is required.
So as per your information you are due in 1-2 days.
So it might or might not work definitely.
But you can try taking tab.Meprate 1 twice a day till you want the postponement but not more than a week.
The tablets used for postponement are:-
1)Tab. Meprate 10 mg is a medroxy progesterone or
2)Tab.primolut N 5 mg,which is a norethisterone acetate
The period after the postponement might be heavy or irregular sometimes.
