Question: Hi I'm just wondering if having a loose foreskin can make it hard to gain erections. The frenulum of my penis is very soft and loose and it makes my penis constantly flaccid and unable to have firm erection and makes masturbation quite uncomfortable. Is there anything that can be don about this?

Brief Answer:
Lax Foreskin has nothing to do with Erection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have lax foreskin and facing problem in getting hard erection.

If the foreskin can be retracted completely over glans penis it should not cause any difficulty in getting hard erection .
The cause of erection has to be looked for .You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to find out any organic cause for Erectile Dysfunction.
1) Blood Sugar Levels to rule out Diabetes.
2) Serum Testosterone to rule our low testosterone levels as a cause of your ED.
3) Thyroid function tests .
4) Ultrasound scanning of Penis to find out any arterial insufficiency or Venous leak,

If all the above tests are normal the cause of ED is mind related and due to performance anxiety.Following measure will help you to boost up your confidence and getting good erection.
1) Practice regular exercise for 45 minutes followed by meditation for 1/2 an hour in the morning.
2) Take high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits and Vitamin A,C,D,E.and Zinc
3)Take anti oxidants like Almonds 5-6 everyday..
4) Avoid alcohol and smoking.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
