Does Physical Activity Lower Blood Pressure?
should not be a problem
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your question. Increasing your exercise will not use up the nifedipine faster, however, exercise may lower your blood pressure. Because of this whenever you start a new exercise regimen, it is good to check your blood pressure periodically because you may need less medicine or you even may be able to stop it. Everyone is different.
Symptoms of the blood pressure getting too low would be dizziness and tiredness. If you experience these symptoms or if blood pressure falls below 100/60 then contact your doctor immediately.
Please let me know if you have further questions. I will be traveling today so may not have access to a computer for several hours but I will answer today if you have further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
