Question: I have a positive anti-DNA and the level is 28 my ana is direct was also positive could that mean rheumatoid arthritis

Positive Anti Ds DNA and positive ANA indicates that you have Lupus also known as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
These tests are not suggestive of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
You also require following tests:
1. ESR
2. Kidney and Liver Function tests.
3. Urine for Albumin.
Get tested and write to me with the problems you had.
Also mention:
1. Any photosensitivity?
2. Any oral ulcers?
3. Any joint pains?
4. Any pleural or pericardial effusion?
5. Any hematological disturbances?
