Brief Answer:
Its perfectly fine if she walks at leisurely pace..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for the query.

Well first trimester is a period which decides the future of the pregnancy. There occurs organ formation and development of circulation. Also the fetus is implanted and progressively strengthen its attachment with the uterus through trophoblastic cell invasion.

To apprise you the fetus is well protected inside the gestational sac which is a fluid filled cavity and this prevents the fetus from any form of jerks or sudden impacts. Also by 10thweek the placenta has grown and implanted firmly to the uterus. So your concern about walking is genuine , but walking per-se doesn't cause harm or hindrance in growth of the fetus.
BRISK walking may be avoided but normal walking at a leisurely pace is to be done. It maintains the circulation of the mother and allows the mother to adapt to the pregnancy changes better.
Its perfectly fine if your wife is walking for 30 min at normal pace for the sunshine. Its not going to harm the baby in any ways, infact sunshine would help production of VIT D which is necessary for calcium absorption in the body.

ONLY things to avoid is intercourse, bending and lifting any form of weights, and straining while passing stools( anything which exerts an increase in lower abdominal pressure).
regards.

Brief Answer:
Its fine to eat TILAPIA FISH ...

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the follow up.

Actually there are no restrictions to food during pregnancy unless there is gestational diabetes.

Also a very big factor which guides the diet in the first trimester in the taste and smell which tends to get altered in the first trimester. So if she is eating fish its fine, and 24 ounces in a week is completely acceptable.

Tilapia fish has in each 100 gm of fish meat has 0.6 gm of Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids content and saturated fat 0.9 mg. Fish per se is very good source for protein and vitamins .

In my suggestion its good if she is eating it.
