hi.
welcome to health care magic.
Spirulina can interact with other medications and
nutritional supplements. However, the severity of
the interaction, as well as the exact drugs with
which it interacts, is unknown, and can vary
between brands of spirulina.
Spirulina may interact with certain drugs taken
for immune system disorders, high blood pressure
(ACE inhibitors), inflammation, diabetes, high
cholesterol, neurologic conditions, and viruses as
well as blood thinners and antihistamine.
Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found
to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives.
Check with your pharmacist for more details about
the brand you use.
If you think you may have a
serious medical problem, seek immediate medical
attention.
thank you.

Dear Dr XXXXXXX
thank you,
I did think that it was interacting with the calcium blockers, it wore off after a few hours, and I feel fine now,
I am not going to take any more spirulina.
