Feeling Spinning Head When Getting Up And Frequent Vomiting. Suggest Some Medicine Or Cure
Thanks for posting your query.
1) Your mother is suffering from acute onset vertigo/ dizziness with vomiting. It is a common problem and prompt diagnosis is required to rule out potentially serious causes of acute vertigo or dizziness (eg, posterior circulation CVA), since these may require specific and prompt treatment.
2) Acute vertigo may be central (brainstem, cerebellum; part of brain) level or peripheral (labyrinth; part of ear) level in origin.
3) Peripheral cause may be benign positional vertigo, labyrnthitis, perilymph fistula and meniere's disease.
4) Central cause may be cerebrovascular ischemia. Involvement of Posterior inferior cerebellar artery may produce acute onset vertigo.
5) You should go for thorough neurological and ear examination by physician/ neurologist and ENT surgeon.
5) You should also go for CT/ MRI scan of brain to rule out cerebro-vascular accidents.
