Growth Hormone Deficiency. Is It Considered As A Disability?
Question: Is Growth Hormone Deficiency considered as a disability?
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Growth hormone deficiency per se is not considered as a disability. It depends on the clinical manifestations of the disease to classify it as a disability.
If the deficiency is since childhood and is associated with growth failure then the percentage of disability can be calculated after a detailed clinical examination.
I hope this answers your query.
