Had A Small Fall And Pain In Lower Left Back. Suffering From Severe Fibromyalgia Chronic Fatigue And Hyper Sensitivity. Treatment?

Question: Hi: Thank you for being available.... My daughter, age 36, had a small fall yesterday off of a hammock and dropped about 2 feet to the grass. But today, very suddenly, she cried out in pain over lower left back (above the hip). I would have thought she was having labor pains. For the past 25 years she has had severe fibromyalgia chronic fatigue and hyper sensitivity... and is home bound. Her symptoms today are the severe pain which induces her to vomit and have constant urge to urinate. This has been going on in 1/2 hour intervals all morning. She desires to lay flat, and cannot find a comfortable position without the pain in the upper hip. We have tried cold and hot compresses, not sure which one is best. I am really worried as her body is so fragile anyway. Just wondering if she bruised her kidney? Is that something to consider. It just occured to me how easily she bruises on her skin. Thought this may be helpful for you to know. How quickly can I expect an answer??? Needing to know if I should take my daughter to emergency. (I am holding back as an emergency room is very hard on her fight and flight reactions.) For now I am keeping her in a quiet room, no noise or talking that seems to give her nausia. But.... if there is something I could do to ease the pain, I sure could use some ADVICE.

Brief Answer:
Injury to the kidney causes blood in urine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thankyou for posting in XXXXXXX
A small fall cannot injure the kidneys.Injury to the kidney leads to blood in the urine. If the urine is clear,it can be ruled out.
As per your query ,Ureteric stone can be thought of.
Ultrasound abdomen will rule out this condition.A stone from the kidney might have fallen into the ureter and causing pain.
If ultrasound is normal, then it could be musculoskeletal pain.Skeletal muscle relaxant tablet will give relief.
Hot fomentation is preferable.
Please consult a doctor, get an Ultrasound abdomen and proceed accordingly.
Hope i answered your query.
Wish her speedy recovery.
